As to the previous statement.......since when does the U.N. have our best interests in mind? Iraq? No, evidence turns out that some in the U.N. were being bribed- France and Russia had blood money for oil going on- go figure why they were against the war- and no one seems to realize that!! The U.N. is not working for us, more like we work for them....when there are problems who do they look for to solve them using the military- US and when we stand by, who gets criticized- US.

I also just wanted to throw in that the accusation of a unilateral war is B.S.- there were many other much more honorable nations on our side, but since the UN didn't approve we got criticized- Now we know why they didn't approve- where's the commotion?

Interesting how you bring up the war and oil. I wonder if any other country involved had any other "interests" in terms of oil.

You don't know if we did or didn't, but we do know about the willingness of other countries to keep Saddam around when his murderous totals are so high that they are still finding bodies today, and more will probably never be found- America is not the great evil empire here buddy. Like I was gonna say- if people don't like something- they're gonna find a way to discredit it- look at the facts
U.N. had no balls after 17 resolutions, b/c they were making money so long as sanctions due to the previous war were in place- we merely took action against a messed up leader, and we were not the only ones

What burns me is the price of gas. We basically run that shithole now, we should be taking their oil and doing what we want with it.
