Tanning
I started tanning today and did it for like 8 minuts. I burn very easily due to very fair skin so I am starting very slowely to make sure I don't just burn, I want to get a base coat down first then gradually increase the time.

Go slow with tanning. As you said, increase each day but in the future donīt stay too long in the sun too.
Choose hours that are not between 10am and 4 pm.

I tanned for a couple of months over a year ago and they strongly recommended tanning lotion
Makes sense I guess.

Well, I'm not sure about the biggest city but the straight line distance between Montreal and Anchorage is over 3,100 miles. You might want to pack a lunch.
