    Deadwood

anyone see this new show on HBO. crazy show about life in the late 1800 is deadwood. biggest gold strike up until that time. lots of money, lots of loose women, plenty of killing & shilling and other enjoyable activities. there is no law and there is a paranoid egotistical warlord saloon owner who controls all that happens inthe town. did i mention that he murders at least 2 people per episode and at least one of them is feed tothe piggies? its a great show. there have been 4 episodes so far. HBO is kicking ass: sopranos, six feet under and now deadwood.

the first episode introduced us to Montana; a lawman from Montana.. ( go figure ). in order to beat a mob to a lynching of a horse thief, MOntana does the hanging in the evening, out on the stoop of the jail. he simply holds onto the guys legs, with his full weight until the fellow in question dies... nice.

the next scene has us in deadwood where one of the whores shot a customer in the head, clear through one side and out the other. Trixie, the whore in question, says that he was beating her too rough. too rough? i guess a little beating was to be expected but not a lot.. The doctor in the series is played by Brad Dourif who was sauruman's henchman in the Twin Towers.
The owner of the whorehouse doesn't bother with ceremonies, and simply carts the unlucky guy over to the local pig farm. Ah, those lucky piggies.

and it either gets better or worse from then on, depending on your point of view.

there is a lot of cussing and a-swearing so sensitive viewers ( you know who you are ) may want to stay away.

little miss trixie, a whore at the Gem seems to have taken on new responsibilities.

Getting rid of dead bodies 101, shoot them in the head straight thru to the other side, poke a stick thru to see if the brain is intact, wheel dead guy over to the local pig farm for the little piggies. don't bother taking clothes off dead guy....

I like the "head whore " over at the new gamblin joint. Head whore, now that's a label....
