Did anyone see this movie and find it somewhat confusing. I know I wasn't really paying that close attention to it but I really got confused towards the end, lol.

Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???
Very lame. I figured it out in the first 10 min. and was very disappointed with Nicolas Cage.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...
I didnt think it was confusing at all. It did, however, freak me out because I could relate to the characters OCD so much!![]()

But when you disarm them, you at once offend them by showing that you distrust them, either for cowardice or for want of loyalty, and either of these opinions breeds hatred against you.

I didnīt think that the ending was that clear. I really liked this movie.
Var Do you really have OCD ? When did it start ?
Yup. I've always had it to some degree. Always been kind of obsessive about things being a certain way (neat, clean, orderly, etc...) It's not too extreme and just kind of a joke with my friends and girlfriend. The only time it interferes with my life is when I'm stressed out about other things...seems to make the OCD worse. An example is when I thought I had gyno. I literally checked my chest every 5 minutes to see if anything was changing.Originally posted by Vieope

Do you worry about other things a lot ? Is that the same thing as being paranoid ?
OCD does have a lot of anxiety that goes along with it. Obsessions are persistent thoughts that you kind of get trapped in. Compulsions are repeated behaviors (like checking my chest every 5 minutes). You get a lot of stress when trying to fight these thoughts and actions. Interesting stuff!![]()

Is there a medication for it or just psychotherapy ?
Zoloft, Prozac, etc... Lots of people who have it dont take anything. Its kind of a useful condition to have. Its only bad if it interferes with your daily life

Not confusing at all...a little on the boring side...but nevertheless an easy watch... personally I liked the girl....don't know her name...Cage was a weirdo as usual...I'm not much of a fan of his I guess
Searching for the right balance...
I usually like his movies, but wasnt impressed with this one at all. I saw it at one of those movie theater/bars where u can eat and drink beer during the movie. If I didnt like it buzzed, it must have been bad!!!

I could never "totally" give up drinking. I've cut down considerably, but everything is so much more fun with beer.![]()

You should try Mulholland Dr.
Any good? Haven't had interest in that one.
