Angry Very very severe sentance for killer

    http://www.canada.com/montreal/montr...0-39238d048874

This is so rediculous... this kid has a record, and the last time he hit somebody he was going 3 times the speed limit. The idiot does it again, and the judge passes down a supposed "very very severe" sentance. I think somebody needs to punch that ass defense lawyer Marie-France La Haye in the face... maybe drive a car over her afterwards.

Its sad that the victims family felt relief at an 18 month sentance! WTF, this dude just murdered your kid and you're happy about 18 months of his rat life? Damn, if it were me I'd be waiting for his time to be up so I could stab the dude to death. Hypothetically speaking of course

Yea, I would also be waiting. For real.

I hope when he gets out, that he runs the judges family over

But when you disarm them, you at once offend them by showing that you distrust them, either for cowardice or for want of loyalty, and either of these opinions breeds hatred against you.

She was most thankful to police using information culled from the data recorder, better known as a black box, from Gauthier's car.

"Without it, we wouldn't have known what happened."

The recording device, which stores data on how a car is driven in the last five seconds before a collision, showed four seconds before impact, Gauthier had the gas pedal to the floor. He didn't brake before impact.

They should have given him 20 years and restricted his license for life. It's pretty obvious that this guy is dangerous behind the wheel - he doesn't need to drive EVER.

Welcome to Canadian justice. If the sentence would have been any longer, they would have run the risk of offending someone.

Well, in Canuck land we need to coddle and shelter criminals....and let in as many immigrants as possible. Oh and, let's keep those taxes high to keep the economy in the tank too.

before someone takes issue with your comment about immigrants; Snafu is correct and it is a huge problem up here. No other country in the world accepts as many forreign nationals as Canada. We don't even bother doing a thorough security check on the vast majority of them. Why is this? We have a very efffective lawyer lobby group that essentially pushes for more work for the immigration lawyers involved. And it is hard to point a finger at the lawyers who appear to be doing humanitariian work on behalf of starving. oppressed people. however, the starving and the oppressed are not who are knocking at our door. Hundreds of millions of dollars is being wasted on legal fees and lawyers are getting rich.

We now have one family, the Khadir's back in Canada. these people are Pro Al 'Queada, worked with ossama bin laden, lived with the guy, the mother is a complete wackjob, she loves that her husband was killed in a gun battle or whatever with the imperialist yankee horde, loved that her son was shot in a similar battle, she is thankful that at least they didn't grow up to be a pussy or worse, a homosexual on the streets of cAnada or the US like allthe rest of the infidel swine.. she rants on and on like this.

there are too many fricking lawyers in Canada for our population. I thought that there was a brain drain here in Canada. Would some of your americans offer these bum lawyers a job so you can have them off our backs?

Forgive him, and then remove him from the face of the earth because obviously he hasn't learned his lesson. Life in prison would be fine, as long as life was not a F#CKING 7 year sentence.

We don't want them here mm. Way to many lawyers as it is. As for beinbg easy to get into Canada, that is so true. The first time I flew to Canada to visit, I was able to get in on nothing but a driver's license...I was like WTF? But at the same time, the diversity of the people in Canada is one of the things I like so much about it. But I did find it rather ironic that I had a Pakistani checking my bags for bombs. lol
