I understand exactly what you mean, when I am alone in the house, I don´t get scared, I am used to it.
Is this your first time alone?

Duh! That one flew right by me.

I was afraid one time. I got lost while elk hunting, and had to stay on the mountain. It was scary at first, but I have been through survival training, so I built a shelter, a fire, and ate some snacks I had with me. I walked to a road the next morning, and someone gave me a ride to camp.

I sometimes hear the house creaking at night, and since I live in the upper appt. ( Crazy, drunk, freakshow lady lives downstairs) I sometimes take a while to sleep. It has been seen that she has gotten into the apartment before, had a few candies missing and a jar left open. She used to live in the appt. we are in right now, but moved down when it was availiable.. I think she ended up keeping a spare key for this appt.

Anyway, thats why I get scared, the lady can be really stupid sometimes, slammin doors and such. Got into an arguement one time about the heat and she took a swing at me, good thing she was drunk, cause I would have landed her on her ass if she even touched me lol.

Damn, I'd have the landlord change the lock.

Yah, it was requested in a written letter of them and it has not been done.. we have a chain on the door, but that says nothing about when we go out.

Have you guys seen the movie 'The Ring'? It kinda freaked me out on it's own.

Anyways, last year I had my girlfriend over at the dorm and I took my buddies t.v. down to my room so that we could watch it in bed. I swear that I kept expecting that fucking thing to turn on after it was shut off and to see some freaky chick. I couldn't sleep with it in the room so I had to take it back upstairs

Absolutely! Its one of those movies that stays with you. Even now, if my girlfriend and I talk about it at night, we get the creeps. Sure sign of a good movie!

By and large I don't think Steven King books are very scary. They are about the BEST books on the planet, just not all that scary. Except IT (No pun intended toward Irontime.) That book scared the absolute piss out of me. I was walking around the house for weeks turning every stinkin' light on.....................and that was during the day.

P.S. While not as bad as Crono, I did get freaked out a bit by Kuso's tit picture. That was just fuqin' creepy.

I keep hearing about this pic, but havent seen it. Is it still around? I'm curious now.

i was at my aunts
and aftwards when i went to bed

There is this big t.v. facing the bed directly in the middle
I kept waiting for it to turn on lol
and there was this little picture
up on the wall
I didnt want to look at it, i thought it might turn and look at me

BTW......the Japanese version of "The Ring" was truely a great flick

Its natural to feel fear. I have felt it many times in my life. If you think being alone or scarey movies are bad you should feel what getting shot at is like. The thing is you deal with it. Its all you can do.

One of the creepiest thing Ive had in my life is where I bowhunt at. Its waaayyyy out in the country and I have to walk about 1/2 mile in the dark to get to my stand. I have to walk thru an old,old graveyard thats surrounded by tall corn. There are stiffs from the 1800s buried there. Its completely dark and I cant shine lights or make noise cause I dont want to alert Bambi.

Once I walk thru the graveyard, and try and avoid the ghosts, I then have to walk a long ways thru the corn, trying to avoid the aliens lurking in there. On occasion I run into a vampire whos going back to his coffin. The first few times it was freaky, even for a semi-tough guy like me. It was kinda cool in a way too. Y'know pitting my courage against my fear...........take care.........Rich
