Heh... he is an alright rapper, but his freestyle needs some work. Esoteric, Virtuoso, Mr.Liff are FAR better than he is.

True underground mcees. Check out "The Soul Purpose" by 7L and Esoteric. I am not sure if Virtuoso or Mr.Liff have albums.. mostly LP stuff. Plus they arent really "Gangster", just hip-hop.

that little freestyle in the car was certainly not what a person should be basing their opinion of Yuk on. Go pick up "Thug Lord the new testament", not the latest one but his sophmore album. I guarantee that whole album will SHIT on ANY albmu dropped lyrically, that shit is waaaayy hard, ya dig. It was more than just gansta shit. It was emotional, it was monumental, it was fast and hard, the ryhmes were intricate and unique, you can't help but feel it. Yuk spit his best shit lyrically earlier in his career when he first went solo. Rappers once established in the game don't have as much to prove as when they are an up and comin emcee, all hungry and shit. I have love for the real "hip hop" music too, no doubt about it and I am not nieve enough to say he si the best lyrical rapper ever, not a chance. I can hook you up with some of his best work before you form an opnion on a rapper thou, feel me..holla at me if you want
    peace fellas

well there have been disputes with the record label and the producer I believe. The only place that carried the album in the whole country was Best Buy and I don't know if it is still there. I was lucky enough to investigate and pick one up while this whole mess was going on. I know some cats in the OAK that found the album at Best Buy also, you should try there. If you still can't find it then hit me up and we can work sumthin out. its a cool album no doubt.
its a bunch of BS actually b/c Yuks album "United Ghettos of America vol. 2" was supposed to be released yesterday and now who knows when we will see that either!?
