I have no idea if sevruga caviar is any good. But I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $1k for an omlet that I could probably make at home for $10 or $20.

You can make a lobster and caviar omelet for 10-20$? Did you miss the part about the 10 ounces of caviar @ 65$ an ounce. All your friends must come over to your house for breakfast.

6 eggs + 10 ounces of caviar is a bodybuilders sized meal though, seriously that would feed a few average people.

I heard about this on the radio. As of yesterday, no one had ordered it yet. This is pretty damn frivilous even for an extremely wealthy person, but I'm sure someone will have to try it.

Hey Var, go there and order 5 of them. Then you put some cockroach in the middle of one and say that you are not paying for that.

I'll still say the hotel & the restaurant are nuts if they think an omlet deserves this price.

Caviar is the bomb! If I could afford it I would buy it. I had some Iranian Beluga once. It was while I was in Greece. I remember my grandfather saying "That will be the most expensive shit you will ever take." Over 100$ an oz.
