    Can you say ouch!!!!!!!!

Tonight I worked security for a Pennywise concert. I got stuck working the mosh pit. I got elbowed in the head, elbowed twice in the ribs, knocked the wind out me one time. My ribs are so bruised it's crazy.

Then at the end of the night a fight breaks out. It was two against one. I dive in choking two of them down, one in each arm. I fell back on ?? and my back is cut up, my leg is cut. While I have one in each arm one of the guys girlfriend decides to scracth the fuq out of my color bone and my right arm trying to pry me off. Then she proceeds to punch my in the forehead. Then one of my own security guys is yelling at me to leg go and hits me in the head.. didn't know who I was or who it was. So I lie go of the one guy and elbow my security guy twice in the mouth.

It pretty much ended at that point. I am hurting evrywhere.

    I love my job!!!!

lol, i used to work at a club here. There'd be fights like that all the time... and of course, other security would sometimes not recognize you in the middle of a brawl. Ive seen guys trying to break up a fight get maced by cops, knocked out by their own guys, etc.

And its not just the miscommunication you have to worry about... its the actual patrons too. Hell, one of our front doorman got shot through the arm after he turned away some kids trying to get in. Suffice to say it wasnt a very safe job.

It's the same club that was in the news recently, where 50 cent had a concert and there ended up being a riot/shooting.

I'll work any club, any venue. But there comes a time where my safety and my life are worth more than $20 an hour. If I know about a clubs past history, a bad history I will avoid them.

At my regular job I have never had my life threatened. Never had a gun pulled on me. Knives a couple of times but the enjoyment I got taking them away made of for hourly wage.. LOL

And I intend to keep it that way.

Although I did come close this past weekend. I got a pretty good blister on my left middle finger playing golf. I almost needed a Band-Aide but decided to tough it out. Here, wanna see?
