Hey i am heading there completely alone to learn how to surf and work on my spanish, anyone else been there? Where should I go, where should I not?

Man i just decided one day that life is too short, and there are too many things that i want to experience, so i just went for it you know? It is kind of scary, but hey, I wanted to do something that i knew that afterward, I would never be able to look at life the same way again

Thats so great man! I wish I had the financial capability to pick up and go like that. Unfortunately, even as a single guy, I have too many bills and commitments to do that. I'm jealous! Have a blast!

Never been, but I hear the surfing is nice 1 mile from my house right now.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts

I was there in the military. Kick ass beaches and a lot of greenery. I wasn't to keen about the food.
How long are you going for ?I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
