    Nightmare scenario for Kerry: Stephnopolous

On "This Week w/George Stephanopolous" the host stated that John Kerry's worst nightmare would be that after the Interim Iraqi Goverment takes over things settle down and they ask the US to leave within 3 months.

Wouldn't this be great for America? How is it that something so good for America can be the worst nightmare of a Presidential Candidate?

Well, it won't happen so it is irrelevant.

Both Bush's and Kerry's worst nightmare would be that an independent came up through the ranks that had tons of support and didn't cowtow to the many people that buy themselves tax breaks and such. This would be something good for America and bad for both parties, it makes perfect sense. Very few things that are good for the American people would benefit these douches.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

I'd take that with a grain of salt. . . but then, I heard the best thing that could happen for the Bush campaign's support would be another terrorist attack....around October.

Well, between NG and Kbm you've covered all the bases. If something good happens, it was a plot. If something bad happens, it was a plot. Conspiracy theorists should be pleased.

I don't think it is a plot to get the Whitehouse. If he got Bin Laden now it would shut alot of people, including myself , up and we could move on to another country. Fact of the matter is, I think Bin Laden is protected far more than Hussein was and I think the closest peeps to Bin Laden are far more loyal than were Hussein's closest.

By the way, you may just be wrong. 90 days after the transfer will be 1 Oct. If we can even begin bringing troops home by then, and Iraq is relatively peaceful, and the UN is in, the mission will be seen as successful by many.

Definitely, but we will not be having any full withdrawal in the near future, that is for sure.

Nor should we. Having a permanent military presence in the Middle East benefits the US.
