Thread: WB Superstar = Best Show on Television

when I first saw glimpses of WB's American Idol spin-off I was sickened. I told tit how WB's sunk to a new low with an obvious desperate copy of one of our favorite shows. There's even a british-y (aka gay) asshole, a too cool black dude, and a happy go lucky cheery girl that loves everyone.

But I didn't know the twist.

This show is hilarious. The thing is, all of the contestants participating just think it's like American Idol but for the WB station. They all participate as if they were auditioning for the judges, but the judges are actually searching out the worst singers. They tell the terrible singers that they sound great, and tell the good singers that they suck. It's hilarious. Seeing the girl panelist tell the real life Comic Book Guy that he's sexy and can sing is only matched by telling a great singing attractive guy "Knock Knock," "Who's there?" "You sucked."

After this they're going to go through the whole shebang with the makeovers and contests and then break it to them it's all a hoax. Sure it's evil, but it makes great television

Really people, it's hilarious. Whether you're a William Hung kinda guy or not this show had me in tears laughing.
