missin 2pac 2 sad he had 2 go
people sayin' he still lives
yeah I got 'im right now in stereo
tall tales and rumors abound
I don't beleive them though
minds think some whack stuff
don't you know?
His favorite number was 7 mine is too
I was born the seventh month of 77
but the day starts with 2
and ends with 6
I used to hang at a place called 7 Star
maybe our spirits passed in galaxy real far
multiply 7 times the 5 points of that star
you get 35 now subtract 2 thats 33
in this year 2004 thats how old he'd be
what about the 6?, that's his birth month see
how things can be twisted to all degrees
So let's put away these conspiracies
Let Tupac Shakur rest in Peace
Please
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
LMAO. Duh. I'm talking about after you do that. I can read it, but it's not exactly the clearest thing lol. And yes, lol I actually do have lots of blonde highlights.Originally posted by gr81

He definitely kept busy while he was in prison. More than a few people at Interscope have letters framed and on their walls that he wrote to them during this time. (wish I were one of them but I didn't get there 'til '95)Originally posted by gr81

unbelievably busy. thats some of his earnest work too. its so sad..
I agree...very sad and on many levels for a number of reasons.
I always think of these Bob Marley lyrics (Redemption Song) when I think of 2Pac:
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
Some say it's just a part of it:
We've got to fulfil de book.
Won't you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

My opinion is that he was using the thug style to draw attention of lost young men, and then planned on introducing them to alternatives to street destinies of death and prison.

excellent comparison NG, and SOOOO true. Two of THE realest and most heartfelt cats ever to grace this earth, let alone a mic booth. They had more in common then just a few things. They were both representative the movement of an entire generation, both were presecuted for their stances and beliefs and so on and so on. Both of them can bring a tear to my eye...RIPOriginally posted by nikegurl

Personally, I think.....
I'll keep it to myself.
^^I know you don't want to come in here and talk some shit about Pac, that would just be getting yourself into some shit that you don't want to get into, trust me... don't go there.
