Thailand is one example among many. The average Thai's weight has increased over the last 10 years, obesity has increased, and diabetes has increased significantly. More kids are eating fast food and western food. For some reason, KFC is common in Thailand, and a life=like bust of Colonel Sanders stands in front of all KFC restaraunts. Happening in other countries as well....oh well....

My first trip to Sweden in 1994 impressed me with how beautiful the women are. I remember only one fast-food place and it was a McDonalds. My return trip in 1999 disappointed me. The women are still beautiful, in the face, but have noticably plumped out. There were fast-food joints everywhere and this was the same city. What a shame.

The problem is that the parents think their kids are "cute" like that. Most of them donīt even think about health since in their mentality only old people die.

What's really goofy, is that some McDonald's in Thailand, have a statue of Ronald McDonald--waiing.

Two hands together, palms, inward, with a bow.

The Chinese kids incidentally, are seriously getting obese. Huge.

How many of them are there now? I know they were trying to crub the tide of reproduction over there at one point. Looks like Ronald's gonna have to change his sign: "Over a gazillion sold."
