How about a trim? Is it a NEED to cut the whole thing down?

Well, I stood on a stump that was next to it, so basically I got about half the tree. Still took off a good 12 to 13 feet of it. best I could do

Lol, well I think you might have, I really doubt that you needed to get rid of as much as you did! As it is, a satellite dish is like what.. 2 feet in diameter, only need a hole for the signal

Very true, but there was no way I could get to the top to reaach that 2 feet, (well I would have had to borrow a ladder and that would have taken too much time) and plus it would have grown back pretty quickly. That damn thing should be out of the way for a while now.

Funny story on a similar topic. I lived on the top floor of a duplex and the guy downstairs got sick of this bush that always stuck up into his window so he went and hacked that bitch down to the size of a basketball. The landlord came over and flipped out, apparently that Bush was a highly expensive ($500), ornamental one. I laughed my ass off for days.

I don't think I'll have that problem, there are a whole bunch of the damn things and most of them are fairly short, just this one was really tall. You can't even tell it's cut down unless you are standing next to it as the other trees hide the cut mark.

That's a good idea, if I can find a digicam I'll do that. I wish I took a picture of the crap I cut down sticking out of my truck, that was funny. But I wanted to get rid of it pretty quick so it didn't even cross my mind.
