Ya know, I have to say Mase was one of the better rappers around when I was in highschool, and he and Fabolous have a very similar style, which I actually like. I'm glad Mase found God, and has changed his life, and for once I'm gonna actually agree with Big Balla, on the FACT that 95 percent of todays rappers are absolutely junk. They have no talent, horrible beats and talk about the same stupid stuff as all the other junky rappers. I appreciate the few rappers that actually have something to SAY in their lyrics, other than F### women and gimme some more Hoes every other verse.
I hope Mase works out.

Know what I think about Ma$e
his should stick with sayin' grace
cause in hip hop he has no place
only thing I like is how he can slow his pace
otherwise his lyrics are without base
why couldn't he have gone in BIG's place
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
thats not really saying much thou, that he better than most fools in the industry. I did like him better than Pdiddy thou, I will say that. then again I like pretty much anyone better than that biatch..Originally Posted by BigBallaGA
ya, i have to agree that p.diddy is/was and always WILL be a complete studio job but it has to be said that he is an excellent businessman nevertheless !!!!!Originally Posted by gr81
yep..this welcome back song is a a FAT BROWN PIECE OF SHIT..it sucks and the beat welcome back from kotter sucks and is annoying as hell...he better have something vetter than that on his new albumOriginally Posted by gr81
Chuck Norris once lost his keys and couldn't remember where he put them. So he tortured himself for half an hour until he gave up their location.
try listening to some real hip hop..like Saigon or Dead Prez

yes - he's still w/Bad Boy.
the song is more of an announcement/teaser than it is anything else (imho). it's definitely not meant to be the strongest track on his "comeback" album

exactly. the only reason mase was hot back then was b/c bad boy was huge, and it was huge b/c of BIG. he isn't a bad rapper, but he is nothing special. Anything that has to do with or has any affiliation with Pdiddy and bad boy I want no part of..
i have his 'warning shots' album...its not bad..."kiss the babies" is deep tho...i like how he is aware of society around him...but all he mostly says is ima kill u, i've been to prison, i'ma real thug, i have 2 bodies in my trunk, bla bla bla...the new dead prez album is ok nothing special but they are racists bastards...just got the new masta killa album and i must say, its the best album i have heard in a minute...its vintage wutang at its finest..the new pete rock, is real nice also...so is the new everlast album...chck em out...i wonder is mase will go back to murda mase..lolOriginally Posted by oaktownboy

Any of you know McGruff, or Big L? Mase did a few songs with them, and is pretty hard in them. They are early 90's though, WAY before bad boy.

Yea, Lifestyles of the poor and dangerous, and the Big Picture are 2 of the best albums I have ever heard. McGruff is on track 11 or 13on Lifestyles of the poor and dangerous. He is pretty hard. Too bad they quit production on his album
I will definately look into the new Masta No Said Date album, thanks

what do y'all think of jay-z retiring and then signing to Dr.Dre's Aftermath label and calling himself Sean Carter and abandoning Rocafella?

its kindof disrespectful to Big L to mention his name with mase. Big L was and Unbelievable lyricist, way ahead of his time as well. That cat was straight hip hop. I wish he was still around spittin,fa sho.. I love big LAny of you know McGruff, or Big L?
I couldn't give less of a fucc about GayZ and what he is doing. Rockafella was wack, Dre is wack as fucc as well and has been. Dre would've been a fuccin relek in this game if not for snoop and Em. Neither of them have ever wowed me on a track with their lyrical skill, and the rest is just nonsense IMO..You know what REALLY makes me upset and I am actually in denial about, the OUTLAWZ are rumored to be signing with Cash Money soon?! WTF are they thinkin, if they pull that of I will have absolutely no respect for them, I don't care who they ran with. That shit woudln't have been going down if Pac was still around I tell you what. There would also be no Jayz or Ja Rule either, but thats another convo.. peacewhat do y'all think of jay-z retiring and then signing to Dr.Dre's Aftermath label and calling himself Sean Carter and abandoning Rocafella?

The rap worlds fallen into a dark age, U-god is fallen out with the Clan, RZA and Meth are pimpin' themselves out to anykind labels, ODB's alway's been a fool.
