The pictures of the parents should be included with the kids. You know they are a bunch of Crispy Cream eatin thyroid blaming slobs. You can't blame the poor kids, it's the lazy parents' fault. A kid that fat should not know what the inside of McDonalds looks like! But it's quick and easy and cheap. And they can get back to watching Jerry Springer.

well, it's nice to see that the American lifestyle and eating habits are making it around the world and causing other countires to be obese and unhealthy then.

The Republic of Georgia is a former republic of the USSR. There were 15 of them.

Georgia has a unique (and very different from Russian) culture, language and history. The Goergian language is in the Karveli family, and the alphabet is 1,400 years old. The Russian language is in the Slavic family and the Russian alphabet is Cryllic. Completely different. Georgia has a fascnating culture.

The Russians have dominated Georgia (until 1989) for about 200 years.

The kids in the picture could be Russian, but he doesn't look it. He could be Georgian, Azergaijani, or Turkish. Hard to say.

The writing is Georgian. No doubt about that.

There was one McDonald's in the capital of Tblisi, and I hated it. In addition to the junk food imperialist explosion, most Georgian couldn't even afford to eat there because the prices were so expensive. Where' the puker smiley icon?

I have been reading a lot of articles and reports from Doctors in Thailand and other Asian coutries about the coming epidemic--yes epidemic, of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease in East Asia.

KFC (formerly Kentucky Fried Chicken) has caught on like wild-fire in Thailand. Why KFC more than that other chains, I don't know. These places are packed with young Thais in their pre-teens and teens and they eat heaping plates of fried (not rotisserie) chicken with all the other stuff. The KFC burgers are very popular also.

Studies show that just 10 years ago, overweight Thais were less common. there has been a huge increase in fat, obese Thai kids who have double chins at 10 years old. Because of the genetics and history of eating in East Asia, (doctors believe) that Asians are more prone to get diabetes (adult onset) from eating the high sugar (i.e., super-size sodas) than westerners....

We'll be hearing about this more.

My kids wanted to go to McDonalds last nite so we did. The rule is if they want to go there we have to walk up n back about an hour n a quarters walk so they are aware it's not a place you go eat without it requiring some extra consideration to your body. Tesla n I order the grilled chicken sandwich w diet cokes n share a regular fries. Tyler is only 6 tall n only 50lbs wringing wet so he has whatever he wants. Well I had been considering working with obese children... we walk in there and I could not believe the size of the 10? yr old boy at the counter. It took two seconds to decide I can't help these kids. Two seconds spent looking at the parents. Sad.

Navy Seal crunches n Pilates. I'll scan a thing about the crunches Tesla does them with me. When I showed her I said "Hands under your butt palms down" n she said "Mom who is gonna put their palms up, really?" So now when we move to those we say "Palms up." Keeps it fun.
