I can't remember the last time I actually was able to get 8 hours of sleep. Now I wake up automatically after 5 hours at the most.

Sometimes I wish I could just turn it all off and SLEEP!! I need this holiday.

During the week, I got 6 or 7 hours if I workout in the morning, 7-8 hours if I do not workout. On the weekends, it's a 9 hour minimum.

Are you talking continuous, uninterrupted sleep? Or does this include naps throughout the day? I assumed the second so answered 6-8. I need my afternoon nap time.

I usually get 7. I started taking Valerian root. Now, those 7 hours are more efficient.

I've never heard of that one. I know Melatonin has worked great for me in the past. No Spitfire, it actually makes it easier to wake up because you're more rested. (That's the way it is with Melatonin anyway. I don't know about Valerian root.)

I tried melatonin and didn't get the wanted effects. Valerian Root does it for me. Also tried ZMA with the same effects as valerian root but it's more expensive.

I always get at least 8 hrs. I use Melatonin or Valerian Root if I'm having trouble falling asleep. I get some crazy dreams with both. Pretty intense. I'm going to try ZMA soon for a change.

I'm lucky enough right now during summer where I have no job and no school and nothing really to do except concentrate on training, eating, and sleeping, which is very very nice

I get 7-8 on working days. On non working days, 8-10 is definitely the norm. I love my sleep.

6-7 usually depending on when I go to bed. No matter what time I go to bed, I always wake up between 6:15-6:45 and can't get to sleep but never feel tired either so it's alright I guess. Sucks on vacation though b/c the family always sleeps in till like 9-10 and I have to be quiet till then or go out on my own.

this has pretty much been my goal this summer, although I've still had plenty of priorities that require I lose sleep/training/eating

these past three nights in a row I've gotten 4 hours, but last night was the one I was looking forward to, where I slept 12+ hours and get to spend the rest of the day in my pj's with no interference

God I love those days, 12+ hours is the best. Lately Ive been doing 3 hours some days and 7 others. Its not that I dont have the time, I work 8 - 10 hours a day then come home.. Thats it, so I have plenty of time. Accually, I cant fall asleep between 1030 - 1 for some reason, and the kicker is if I go to sleep before 10 I wake up around 11 - 12, and cant get back to sleep till 4 or so, its killer. This isnt my ussual sleeping habit though, this has been about the last 3 weeks or so.. been wondering if its my diet.. body thinks Im dying and says,"You dont need sleep, you need food!" I wonder how your body would know you have fat stores left if your leptin levels are almost dead.. Thats my best guess anyways, nothing else is out of the ordinary.
