9 Killed in Truck Bomb Blast in Baghdad

When will the death of soldiers in Iraq stop?

I can't stand it anymore seeing 5 or 10 soldiers dying b/c of these car bombings every other day.

Do you realize more soldiers have been killed this year than the entire war itself last summer?

I just can't stand it any more. When will it stop?

Maybe if Canada had some troops over there to help secure the country there wouldnt be so many people dying.

We currently have troops in Afgahnistan.

But personally I don't think Bush has any reason to keep letting soldiers die.

Farenheit 9/11 really said a lot more about Bush & really told me a lot more about him that I already knew.

Luckily for us, its mostly non-americans who are stupid enough to believe anything in that movie.

We don't have any troops, we rely on our southerly neighbours

Take off, Eh! Ya Hooser!

My Encounter with the Canadian Navy:

We had to go over to insert code for their International Friend or Foe circuits. While onboard I noticed the Beer vending machines and how messy everything was.
The End

Yeah but it is damn fine beer in those machines. Nothing like you would see in the vending machines on your boats

OK, what the hell have I been missing? The only people who know what IFF stands for are people dealing with aircraft. (Although military aircraft call it Interrogate-Friend or Foe.) What do you do maniclion?

There's no way in hell I'm going to get into another F9/11 debate but PLEASE, don't rely on a single source for your news. No matter what your beliefs, gather news from as many different sources/ideologies as possible and THEN decide what you think is right or wrong. 'Nough said.

I agree with Albob, I've seen a F 9/11 debate in two threads about F 9/11, a thread about spiderman, and it pops up in every debate over the military. I can't say it any better than what Albob just said so I'll leave it alone.

Ha, you think it's exclusive. How do you think our ships and ground troops radar systems keep from blowing you guys out of the sky? By sight?

I was a Radioman USN. IFF can be International when in Joint Task Force Operations otherwise known as Identification or Interrogate. Our CIWS system used it to keep from shredding our Seahawks.

You guys get to play around with all sorts of neat crap. I am a ground troop and I have no idea what goes on with you guys. Everytime I walk into a room and I see you guys playing with your giant toys I am amazed. I am a field radio operator and I don't own or have I ever touched a piece of euipment that is complicated or under 20 years old. The most comlicated thing I've been asked to do in my career in the marines is to take apart various weapons systems (guns), and put them back together in under 2 minutes or something like that. Or navigate my way through a forest to a check point, we have no big toys like you guys, and I'm glad, that crap gets confusing, I'd rather just hump 30 miles somewhere and shoot at something, it's much more simple.

Well I know more than a few Americans who believe that movie & think Bush is wrong for what he is doing.

& Michael Moore believes it or he wouldn't have done the picture.

So you think it's right that Bush is letting 5-10 American soldiers die every other day?

I think the way you phrased your question is inherently flawed. I doubt the strongest Bush supporters you can find would think it was "right" to have Americans dying in Iraq.

I have no doubt that you talk to some real idiots on a daily basis, judging the content of most of your post. Of course I know more than a few Americans that think Michael Moore is full of shit, so what is your point.

It's called sarcasm. But that is what is going on.

Actually the Americans I talk to are pretty well educated ppl. One of them being a graduate of lawschool from FSU & an undergraduate study in Political Science & he can't stand Bush.

I know a couple of ppl in New York who is a judge & works for the American embassy building who feel this way as well.

Michael Moore is American too.

Besides all the facts & news footage, they don't lie at all.

Why else would we have not seen any of it? B/c they didn't want us to.

you can call it sarcasm - but a lot of people will call it over simplification and ignorance on your part. (by the way - i am NOT a fan of George W. and i still think you're a fool for how you phrase this stuff. )

Then why are there 5-10 soldiers wasting their lives every other day over there?

Answer me that? There's no reason that this many soldiers should be dying especially this long after the actual war itself.

But at least your not a GWB fan, at least your honest about that & I respect you for it, seriously.

here's my point...some people will agree with you. but many others will find the loss of life tragic - but not believe it is a "waste". (including most men and women in the military actively risking their lives)

they DON'T believe it is for nothing. they DON'T believe it's a waste and would probably be insulted to hear it phrased that way.

I think ppl would agree with me even more if it was their own father, sister or brother getting killed.

I'm not trying to insult anyone here about saying they're wasting lives, but there's no reason for American/& allied soldiers to be killed every other day.
& I'm serious to every other day I turn on the news or see the news on the net it says 5 soldiers killed in car bomb, or 10 killed in suicide truck bombing.

I can't stand it, seeing these men & women losing their lives.

well - i think you're wrong. and i definitely don't think you should risk testing your opinion by asking a grieving family member how they feel about their loved one "wasting" their lives or even telling them how sorry you are that their son/daughter/husband etc. had their lives "wasted"

seriously - it's nice to care about the loss of life but the "waste" thing would be very hurtful to most military families.

Johnny you are stupid man, I'm sorry. Look I expect to be over there in less than a year and I will be in harms way, and I don't agree with you. So tell me your plan for the US and Iraq, we just pull out completely and ignore whatever happens next. Don't pull that cop out of how if we had friends or family over there we'd see things your way, because not only do I have friends and family over there I am going there myself. You speak of things you obviously know nothing about. So tell me who of your family is going over to Iraq, and when exactly will I see you over there. Just cuz you see crap in a movie doesn't mean it's true, soldiers and marines are dying over there everyday, but we like to think we are doing it for a cause, even if you don't agree with the cause.
