That's good for the ol confidence, I didn't even think to answer Marie and I still don't understand 4100 for the math part.
"The First Rule of Fight Club is, You do not talk about Fight Club."
No wait I understand the math one now that I took a a little time, I feel really smart now.![]()

LOL I was actually good on those, I been caught way to many times in those types of questions before. Not happening again![]()

How do you get 5000? I don't get that one?
I got the first one right too easy.
The second one is vague.
The daughter one has been done too many times.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
It's 4100, the part I don't get is how can someone say it's 5000!Originally Posted by maniclion

I actually got the math problem right! lol Mental teaser. We, as humans, are probably geared to answer those problems incorrectly (i.e., without hesitation).
They have you add 1000 a few times, so you are incrementing the thousands place by one each time, and they also have you adding mutiples of 10, so you are incrementing the 10's place. Then, we you get to over 100 in the tens place, you for some reason, feel that you have to increment by 1000 again. Kinda weird, but, when you have 4090 and it says to add ten, you naturally want to stick to the pattern, and go to 5000. I made the mistake twice in a row before I saw what I was doing.

Since we all missed at least one, does that mean that we're less
than smart but smarter than stupid
I STILL don't get the daughter one
Drama is the result of an attempt
to find wholeness & success
in the midst of forces that have been
birthed in chaos and nurtured in confusion.

I got em all right except the math one. When it said, "1000 again" I assumed that the problem started over again, because it did not say, "Add another 1000", just "1000 again."
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
