Getting a dose of childhood along with comics!!!

Today, I stepped foot in a comic book store for the first time in 10 years! And I was like all in awe. Like a friggin 10 year old. And I was getting back my childhood fast. There was this 1 quarter wrack and i like got 12 or 13 dollars worth of comics. The owner looked at me and said, "Your first time in how long?"

    "A decade."

And the dude laughs, "Okay, carry on."

Is it wrong or is it okay to get a dose of childhood back?

Okay, you got the old kind, cool. The newer comics I've flipped through lately are like 3 dollars, too much use of color and extremely glossy pages. Seem shorter too.

Nothing wrong with flashing back. When you have kids you can do this in their name.

I used to be a huge comic collector. I currently have about 2,000 comics dated 50's, 60's, and 70's. At the moment I am in the process of aquiring the original Amazing Spider-Man series (volume 1) Issues #1 - 200. Then have them CGC graded, slabbed in plastic, and then sell them on eBay and retire..!

I loved Fantastic 4 and The Submarener.

Back when I was 10, I would beg and rag and be a pain in the ass just to get a friggin 2 or 3 dollar one of their comics.
