    Being your very best

No matter who you are, you age, your current physical condition, etc. you CAN, IF you REALLY WANT improve yourself to the best of your ability and HAVE the physical health and the body you want - as best as you can have - IF you work for it honestly and sincerely. There is no reason you will fail UNLESS you do not put forth the honest effort. Not too much can be guaranteed in life and living EXCEPT this - IF you PUT INTO it your ALL you can HONESTLY succeed (DO your homework and educate yourself through reading and asking, etc.; DO each and every exercise with perfect form; proper rest, proper nutrition, etc.) YOU WILL SUCCEED - GUARANTEED. It really does depend ON YOU and your willingness and your "stick-to-it" - Rome was not built in a day, a house is not build in a day, anything OF QUALITY is built carefully and deliberately and honestly OVER TIME - but YOU WILL SUCCEED. GUARANTEED. You just have to want it bad enough to WORK for it - EARN IT - you WILL reap the rewards of what you put into your program to achieve your total health. It IS entirely up to you.

    Take Care, John H.

Lucky sob....I don't think I've ever even tried a gourmet one. Though I like the store-bought ones just fine.

The cinnamon roll I had was pretty good, too. I wasn't going to tell you guys about the cinnamon roll, with this being a health board and all, but we're all friends, right? Don't worry, my 12 hours of weekly cardio takes care of the extra calories.

12 hours of riding a bike each week, on average. That's going to go up to about 20 huors a week once I move into my new house and can ride my bike to work a couple times a week (35 miles each way).

If I get one of those Bikes with the gears and put it on low gear would that be more a a strength work out or a cardio only.

That's the assumption I go under. That's why I switch up between mountain biking and road biking. Mountain biking seems more like a strength workout, riding at a lower cadence (pedaling speed), while road riding I keep the gear high with faster pedaling.

I think someone should give John H some credit for a post that:
    1. did not talk about homo/bi-sexuality and
    2. did not mention that the Bible is written BY MEN.

Personally, I FOUND that HIS emphasis on CERTAIN words and making THEM CAPS to be particularly ANNOYING, so I think I missed THE message HE was trying to GET across.

    Hi Vieope,

I made this thread for the benefit of those who were sincerely interested - or even wondering if it is truly possible - to get the body they want. What I said I stand by completely. IF a person is really wanting better total health and they honestly work for and earn it, educating themselves on the basics and doing each exercise with good form, etc. they WILL SUCCEED - there is no way they will not. The only way they will not succeed is if they do something wrong or violate a basic. Or become lazy - or "eat a lot of donuts", etc. People sometimes think it is not "possible for me" - but there is damn good reason(s) why it IS possible. If a person does not put forth the honest effort than they can EXPECT to fail. If they are TRULY WILLING they WILL SUCCEED. I am not trying to be "motivaltional" necessarily just speaking honestly about what CAN happen - GUARANTEED - GUARANTEED - (and there is not much in life and living you can honestly say is GUARANTEED) - IF you really WANT IT BAD ENOUGH. The choice is up to each individual. They can succeed GUARANTEED but ONLY if they put forth the honest, sincere effort and earn it. It IS worth it!! Those that have succeeded KNOW! Anything WORTHWHILE is worth putting good work into reaching their goal. They will!

    Take Care, John H.

For all those who enjoying having someone to hate - hate on. It will consume you one day - and maybe too, you will be the focus of that hatred - ENJOY!!! One day your time to be hated by someone for some reason just may be right around the corner. This country is fast becoming a nation of people that look for others to hate and the rest of the world is seeing that. This nation is earning its reputation. Honestly so. It will come back to haunt - I feel bad for those good people who are constructive and helpful and care honestly about someone other than themselves who will end up suffering because of the immaturity of a few.
