Or is it Bonnie? Who cares? Theres two big-assed hurricanes coming to Florida, and they arent going to Disney World(I hope!). One is set to make landfall in Talahasee, the other is expected to make landfall in the Tampa Bay area.. Guess who lives in the tampa bay area? ME.
Wonder how many mobile homes it will take out.. Well, we live at the top of a hill. My house, as well as maybe 6 others are in a level E flood zone(Safest) and EVERYTHING around us is level d - a. So one might think thats cool.. But in reality I think the just puts us on a silver platter for the hurricane, we're the easiest spot to hit
So The one coming here is expected to hit land 14.5 hours, but winds should be up to 60 mph by the time I wake up EMS wont response after 45 mph so we're fcked if anything happens, LOL. Needless to say I have tomarrow off; so Im thinking about having a yard sale. 
Bah, I really dont care, I dont think anything bad will happen to *me, the odds are just too strongly against it. Maybe some property damage, but thats it. Of course, if anyone checks in a month or so, and this is still listed as my last post.. That means Im dead

Charley did right by me; slaughtered the fort myers area though(among others).. We have a house down there; so I may be leaving to help fix it up soon.. But we havent heard from the tenants yet..
I seriously underestimated this hurricane; (My first hurricane) She went to a category 3 then a category 4 in like 30 minutes. Watching the videos of where she hit.. I was an idiot to stay put; that thing would have most likely slaughtered my house. It was shocking to see it on TV; it destroyed everything in its path.. And Ithink seeing the movie,"The Day After Tomarrow" helped scare the crap out of me after the fact. LoL, before/During it I was completely laid back,"if it hits the house it would have hit the house even if we werent here so who cares where we are? Well just duck down and stay put in the closets." I dont think that would have worked too well now.. 
Oh well, Todays a good day for me; Im very thankful it went to the east of where we were. We got maybe 20 minutes of rain, and no winds. I hope everyone it did hit is OK; I heard theres a shelter it hit where 1200 people were, and it ripped the roof right off. Last I heard they didnt know if the people inside were OK because phones were down.

my gf is on vaction in florida for the first time right now. she went there with a friend to stay ath her friends parents house in Punta Gorda, figure the odds of that...and the friends parents just moved there 3 months ago
