I saw the movie Collateral this week & it was very good.

    Lot's of action & suspense.

    Not too mention intensity.

Tom Cruise was very good & so was Jamie Foxx (who I'm looking forward to see play Ray Charles in the new movie).

I recommend this movie & I'll probably buy it when it hit's dvd later in the fall.

Take care all & have a good weekend.

Apparently the grey hair was for the role is what I heard.

He normally has black or brown hair.

But for this role it suited him well.

My favorite part is when Tom Cruise throws and chair through a window while running, and then immediately trips over that chair . I think everybody in the theatre started to laugh.

Some movie theatres on some nights & especially if it's a big show, not only does the show sell out, but also the parking lot gets packed & by the time you find a spot the line up is so long that you miss 20mins of the movie.

I know with my Guzzo theatre we have to get to the theatre at least 30mins early especially on cheap night & for a big movie.

For example when Star Wars comes out next summer I will probably by go 60mins early or get my tickets early in the day if I can.

I never saw The Last Samurai but buddies said it was good.

& I liked MI 1 better than the 2nd part.

But this movie was pretty good, I'll be buying this DVD.

It was kind of shitty IMO. Cruise was ok, but the story was too unbelievable. This bumbling cabbie suddenly (in like one moment we get this magic transformation) becomes Da' Man. He manages to outwit (and outshoot ) a highly-trained professional assassin???

And then all the coincidences were just too much. Sure, there's like only three murders in all of LA that night, and they all happen to be connected. And of coarse that girl would be the last target. (But why wasn't she the first target if Cruise starts the night off where she was dropped off?)

Also, what kind of dip-shit assassin never heard of a silencer???

Well it's the movies & anything goes.

I still liked it a lot & will probably buy the DVD.

But as you saw for most of the movie Jamie Foxx wasn't able to outwit the assasin. But yeah you're right the transformation was a little bit unrealistic but the story had to change at one point.

As for ths silencer if you recall he did use a silencer a few times.

How did I ruin the movie by talking about using a silencer?

Well I didn't give away the story, that wasn't me.

No offense to you MaxMirkin, but you gave away the ending just above.

As much as I like talking about a movie, I'll never talk about the ending or give away the plot.

I've only said my opinions on the movie.
