I voted for beer brother, it is THE most important.

Quiet, I voted beer and I drink Molsen, don't upset the canucks, plus Labatts is good too.

Beer is the most important issue. It's also the second most important issue. So beer is first, and something else is third. Whatever that third thing is, I don't know. I'm too busy going to the fridge for another beer to give it much thought.

Education trumps all of the above. With smarter folks we could solve the seven other problems without hurting anyones feelings and then focus on larger issues like a public beer delivery system and teaching young girls how to become hot chicks and remain hot chicks well into their Golden Years
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Got to agree with Manlicon here. Without education humanity will always wallow in shit. But even more important, and also linked, is democracy and freedom. Until the world is free, has democratic values, has its Govt.,s answerable to the people, and has human rights, there will always be another war around the next corner. Personaly I put homeland security as first..take care....Rich

"Perfection" isn't a human trait. Now if you want to see "vast imperfection" then travel the world and live in some of these tyranny's. Even better, travel to some of the communist ones and see how well the wealth is shared in a "workers paradise".Originally Posted by LAM

I was in Bulgaria for a few days in the 70's and remember seeing bread lines, cardboard shoes, and bitter hopeless faces. And on top of that the secret police could STILL kick your door in at 0300 and drag you away for 1/2 a lifetime of torment. Ive been to others, and they were all failures. Americans who have never been, and lived, in such places have no context of appreciation for our democracy.

trust me I understand what you are saying. I'm ex-military and I've been to plenty of shit holes around the globe. we definetly have it easy here in the US but there is also a great deal of room for improvement, which doesn't seem to be happening at any rate except for the elite...

I would say rights overall.. But the 2 parties seem to give and take what,"Rights" we deserve to have. The second amendment will win my vote this year though(So Republican or Liberitarian), esp after the debacle the Democrats put up to get the,"Assault Weapons" Ban passed.
And now it dies![]()

eh.. nevermind. Shortened version of post- Our schools dont need money as much as other things..

The environment..... conservation, alternative fuel sources, pollution....... many of the issues in the poll will take a long time for our country or humanity to solve and work out but the planet and/or her resources may not sustain us. For those, like myself, who have been chanting the mantra for fuel conservation and alternative energy sources, see our dependance on oil, most of which reside in countries that hate our guts, as politically insane. I also hate the fact that we try to placate countries like Saudi Arabia, one of the worst human rights violators as well as harboring or indirectly funding much of the terrorism, as a form of political enslavement by our dependance on oil.

first off it was a joke you stupid fuck, secondly, only you could find fault in a statement that education is important. do me a favor and just never respond to a post of mine please. Nothing good is ever going to come of it and I just assume not converse with a condesending, patronizing, delusional little bitch like yourself.gr81 What Ive league school are you graduating from?
My most important issues, as a 34 year old American
1. Ability to save and invest for my financial future.
2. Affordable health care (and yes I work and have an insurance plan).
3. affordable education (100% increase in public uni. tuition in 6 yrs.)
Many more, but I'll keep it short.
