Not a democracy? Interesting post. Where I went to school we were taught that we lived in a democracy and that we are trying to install democracy on a global scope.

These guys were being told that while they were being seperated from their various body parts. This link is ment to cause a reaction and provoke thought about the cost of installing democracy in Iraq. It shows soldiers missing arms and legs. Young men no more than 25 ... would you want this to happen to your son?

...And to the Republic for which it stands...

    Peoples Republic of China

But I move to have the parts of our pledge changed from Republic to Federation and remove the "Under God" added in 1954

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
and to the federation for which it stands
one nation , indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

But in all reality it should read:

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
and to the Plutocracy for which it stands
one nation , easily bought, with greed and lies for all.

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Didn't you know, it is completely impossible for someone who is very far partisan to either side to admit when one of their brethren is full of shit or doing something wrong.

To those of you that say Clinton had all of the intelligence that Al Qaeda was going to bomb and did nothing, isn't this the EXACT same intel that Bush had for at least a year prior to 9/11 or did the intel stop coming in right when Bush took office? If Clinton DID slash intel spending, why did not Bush correct this. If there was a problem and he didn't fix it he is AS guilty as Clinton. Everyone fucked up. Clinton/Bush, both are guilty on 9/11. Kerry had nothing directly to do with 9/11, this puts him ahead of Bush in this area IMO.

Oh, and dg, as far as them having WMD because we gave them to them. Sure, they did have WMD and we gave them to them years ago, but I had a boner when I woke up this morning, and that doesn't mean I have one right now.
When Clinton fired the 1200 operatives we had inside, that took decades to get to, we have to start over. He burned the bridge. you don't just say "hey I hate america" and then everyone is telling you there next plan, or where Bin Ladden is.
Clinton criplled us for ten years.

Also, Clinton , Gore and Kerry were selling our defense systems to the Ruskies and the Chineese, and we even found some of the technology in Iraq.
When Kerry was confronted on it he said, OK i will give the mony back.

Hell no, He belongs in prison.

I lost 40% of my lungs during my service in Desert Storm.
We were not at war when i joined but i knew what i was getting into. If we go to war and i am in I may die. I weighed the risks, and went for the training i wanted. I got what i got. I love America and wish i were in better health to helpm the Iraqies. they neede to be rid of that idiot.

Sure I have trouble working out now and ame losing muscle from it, but our presence keeps a lot of evil from being played out.
