Say I found a song that I want to play on a homepage. How do I get the HTML for the song and how do I get it to play.

personally, I cannot stand sites that embed sound.

you may be right, not sure, but he could convert the .mp3 file to .wav too.

it doesnt have to be midi or wav, its just that it doesnt require any type of plugin like mp3 use to. I dont know if it still does or not. create a blank html document and just put the embed command in there and test it with the mp3 if not then you need to either load a plugin or like Robert said convert it to wav, but if it is a whole song then it will be huge.

Also, I agree, embedding songs in websites is not the most ... tasteful of things, but lots of people do it, just wont catch me at it.

I think many years ago people thought it was neat to embed sound, anymore you only see it on very amatuer websites.

you could just link to it so IF someone wants to here they can click it.

Or false, or none at all like Robert's example.

I'm on MySpace

Dale, convert that sucker to MP3, WAV sucks for load times and your bandwidth useage.
