I do not agree with you there my friend, if the averege joe shmoe start walking aroun with a gun and get mad at a guy who flips him off, dont you think we would have more killings around ? think about it man, we would also have more people impersonatin police officers, which is a bad thing, yeah i know its cool to be in a possision of power but there comes great responsibility with it.

I, personally, have never heard of such a case. We have CCW in Florida, which allows you to carry pretty much anywhere that doesnt have it posted. Most people with such instability are already criminals, and cannot aquire a CCW anyways; but would, and do carry illegally. After all, the point of CCW is that nobody knows you're packing, so people who carry illegally are only caught after they've commited a crime.
Of course there will be instances where scenarios similar to the one you mention do happen. Id expect that in a country with such a taboo for firearms. In highschool over 1/2 of your classes are electives, AKA daycare. And there is not even one OPTIONAL firearms class. I believe there should be a required firearms class. Not like, lets go to the range and fire guns class, but informational and safety. Statistic and movies class.. kind of like drivers ed where they show you a bunch of people in car accidents to scare you. lol.

Bullsh#t. I know many police officers, and have state officers in the family (Michigan). They don't know the first thing about performance driving, and most should not even be allowed around a 4,500lbs cruiser.

"better than me"... You're really quick to assume, like your above statement about your self proclaimed law enforcement knowledge. What makes you think you know what my driving capabilities are

In California... during the academy we are required 40 hours of performance driving at a closed course. Its a lot of fun, and really does teach you some good skills, but as far as renewing them, I dont BELIEVE Officers are required too.

FUN! Mind if I ask what the classes are like? What kind of skill/techniques do they really push for?

The statement itself is ludacris.
Huh??? WHat does percentage have to do with the number of shooting you are involved in? That is why it is a percentage. Are you saying that the more shootings you are in, the more inept you become? A percentage is determined irrelevant of the total number.

What a logical and educated response. Tell me what is wrong in a reasoned opinion and I will respond with a counter argument.

As far as your argument about somone flipping off someone else and them getting shot...Find me a case where this has happened. Florida has had CCW for more than 20 years. Around 40 states have it also. You would hear about it if it happened. CCW holders have a lower crime rate than basically any other discernable group.

Texas had an imediate resaponse to its CCW enactment. Crime droped and Houston Lost its title as murder capital of USA. Fear does generate respect.

In our Academy, we had many points stressed. We did work on a skid-pan and how to drive through skids. We did high speed pursuit work, and how to properly gas/brake a vehicle on turns and such at high speeds. We did parking, manuverability, passing other vehicles and other fun stuff

Where you tought any technical driving techniques like the scandinavian flick or left foot braking? Did they encourage you to participate in SCCA or solo events?

Instead of supporting police officers in our own country, goes cheap here, and spend money on police in Iraq. Bush even gives welfare money to former Baath party members!
