    God V. Bush 2004

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

I am not a "w" supporter BUT if this is the case,
then why do people "selectively" listen to GOD instead
of heeding him all of the time.

It should be interesting to note that there are a LOT more counties that voted for Bush than did Gore. The only voting block that Gore got was from the welfare areas and the big cities that are looking to suck the tax payer tit. Its the only game the Democrats can play - big city voting blocks on the backs of the real workers who live in the rural and grass roots areas. There is a social war going on in this country and the Democrats are losing their constituency. Bush has this election in the bag.

You are so full of misinformation its amazing. Those counties are controlled by democratic precincts. These are the same precincts who could not properly count their ballots nor deliver them to the state on time and then had the gall to try and blame the Republicans for their inadequate voting machines that they did not want to pay more of their tax money to upgrade.

As for "nobody lives in those other counties" do some simple math Tomas. If that were true then there would have been an overwhelmingly large majority of voters who would have elected Gore. Gore lost - go into denial if you want to but get your facts straight because Kerry does not stand a prayer in this state. The "normal" and decent people of the state of FL (those that do not want big government in their face all the time and high taxes) mostly do not live in the big cities. These are the hard working farmers, engineers, retailers, and so on that live in just about every other part of the state but in that circus down at the south. A lot of professionals are running from south Florida like it was a disease and coming up the coast to escape the crime, the corruption, and the low lifers. Just because you are out of work or unemployed don't project your doom and gloom on the rest of us. At my last recollection we were under about 3.4% unemployed. It use to cause economists euphoria whenever the nation could sustain less that 6% unemployment. Where are you coming from? You are starting to sound like an illegal Haitian or something who wants a handout.

OD I like your style. You miss a lot but at least you try. I say you missed here on this shot you took because any state with that much damage would have been assisted by FEMA ... dem or repub gov's would have held the same money.

It was a nice story ... and you told it so well.

And I like the way he failed to mention W. Bush helped his bro out without pause while in his story he mentions how the Dem. Gov. had to try to muster the states resources before the fed. stepped in.

    DUCK! Here comes another one.

So, all these storms are my punishment for being a republican and Bush supporter?

I swear I'm a moderate republican... I'm not very religious. I believe in the womens right to chose. I like naked women, and believe every man should play with them often. I believe that THC never hurt anyone.

Maybe I need to rethink this whole republican thing.

    Pretty cute, but . . .

    Debating coincidence is worthless.
    coincidence is just that, coincidence.
You could find stuff going any which way you want.
some people think they can predict which way the stock market is
going to go by who wins the super bowl.

Do you want them picking your stocks because it worked for the last 8 years ?

Well thanks for the compliments - telling 100% truth is always the best style. As we all know FEMA has no independent authority to do anything with Federal funds without executive orders and they in fact work for the administration that is running the country. In this case they performed magnificently under a Republican administration and I proved that the prior post with the bogus hurricane stats was a bunch of hooey. That's a playful shot right between the eyes that wasn't intended to be fatal (since there is not anything intelligent to poke a hole into there) and Democrats are not known to be the sharpest knives in the drawer except when it comes to knowing when to put their hands into everyone else's pockets.

Bush will win this election with or without Florida. More importantly, this has been an incredible leadership challenge for Jeb Bush, who is handling it rather well.

It will put him in good stead for his campaign to succeed his brother in '08.
