What kind of animals may we eat?

You should not eat animals.
Gen.1:29 "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."
Pr.23:20 "Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh."
Is.7:14-15 "Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good."
Dan.1:8 "But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat...."
Rom.14:21 "It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak."
1 Cor.8:13 "Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend. "

Only certain kinds of animals may be eaten.
Dt.14:7-8 "Nevertheless, these shall ye not eat, of them that chew the cud or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel and the hare, and the coney; for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore, they are unclean unto you. And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass."
Lev.11:2-4 "These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth. Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat. Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you."

You may eat any kind of animal.
Gen.9:3 "Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you."

Whoever kills must be killed.

The killer must not be killed.

Is God for the war in Iraq or against it?

God is warlike
Ex.15:3 "The Lord is a man of war."
Ps.18:34 "He teacheth my hands to war."
Ps.144:1 "Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight."

God is peaceful
Rom.15:33 "The God of Peace."
1 Cor.14:33 "God is not the author of confusion but of peace."
2 Th.3:16 "The Lord of peace himself give you peace always."
Heb.13:20 "The God of peace ..."

hehe, nice 1 manic, didnt see this thread. I would say some of these quotes are too vague and light to bear any meaning, but an interpreter for the church would have no problem using these to prove a point.

Reguardlless, this is all the republicans fault, they started this whole flip flopper mess

Not that I'm here to argue any religious point b/c that would be an endless thread but in any debate you should be aware one cannot make any judgements "out of context". This is the largest mistake made when trying to make a choice about anything. Even in something as simple as someone's post here at IM... often times only part of a post is quoted. People should read the whole bible in this case, not just a few of your partial quotes.

Believe me, I've been through your 2 Yahoo albums like 5 times. I said 5 times. I rarely ever look at anyones gallery more then once. I looked at your at least 5 times. 2 times today in fact. Not like I was looking for anything but umm just looking at ummmmm...the cars in the background and those lovely trees and some other things. Very very wonderful photos.
