Well, you'll be overjoyed to know I have decided NOT to evacuate this time.

That's right. I've decided to ignore evacuation orders along with a few other people in my building, and will be staying put*.

I'm cooking up a bunch of food, and lining up some DVDs (with some books as back up in case the power blows early). My family's been notified. I signed a consent form with building security and I'm gonna weather this fucker right here on Miami Beach.

Crazy. Insane. Retarded. Whatthefuckever. I'm just feeling a little reckless this morning. Might be cold-medicine induced. Who knows.

Hope everyone else is safe and doing the smart thing.

*Please don't lecture me, I already got a talking-to (or rather, a yelling-to) from my mother, and a "well-you're-an-adult-now" from my father. I'm aware of the brazen stupidity of this decision.

Wish you guys the best of luck. I had a freind who kept on insisting I move down there, but I just can't stand the hot, hot humid weather. Not a summer person at all.
