What's with the extreme fear of James Carville?

Carville steps up and tell's Kerry "It's the war, stupid" and now the Repugnantcons are criticizing CNN for employing an informal Kerry advisor. Begala too. 'Crossfire' hires 2 conservatives as well, I mean come on, it's an evenly balanced program so how can CNN take any criticism for this? The only explanation is that there is a healthy fear of James Carville and they know when he starts "advising" changes happen and the results put a "pansy-assed" liberal in the Oval office.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Carville should not be working for CNN and John Kerry at the same time, that is a clear conflict of interest.

I don't think republicans fear Carville, but he is definitely respected as the best in the business along with Karl Rove as a political operative. Kerry should have made him the #1 guy in his campaign from day one if he was available. I personally admire the guy although I disagree with just about everything that comes out of his mouth. He is also quite entertaining.

Begala does not impress me but ditto on the conflict of interest.

Carville is just as stupid as his wife.

Carville is not a reporter, he is paid to express an opinion. Hell, he even says "From the left, I'm James Carville." I see nothing wrong with him wearing both hats. O"reilly is just WRONG.

I want to hate Carville but I can't. I like the guy.
