Who here wouldn't have banged Jane Fonda back in her day?

Kerry and Fonda cannot be compared.

    The photos reveals nothing.

Go Pepper, lets show Kerry's real colors.

Regarding war, there is a time for public discussion and dissent. However, once all of the discussion is over and a vote has been made, we need to stick together as a country and support our troops.

Constructive criticism is one thing, but full out attacks on our leader and blatant lies or partial truths border on sedition for which they used to hang people. Sedition is "Behavior or language that brings about rebellion against the established authority of the state".

You might like to hear what President Lincoln would have said about Kerry.

"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged."

    - President Abraham Lincoln

We are NOT in a state of war right now.

And ONE Congressman out of 435+ has a son or daughter serving in Iraq.

A least he went to Vietnam, unlike AWOL Bush, the Chicken-Hawk president. So what if he was anti-war after Vietnam? A lot of people were bitter about being sucked into a needless war.

So what's your point. The US military is an ALL volunteer military. So no one is forced to go over to Iraq. Everyone there volunteered for the military. I'm sure there are a lot of people over there that don't want to be, but they took the money to be in the military knowing that the possibility existed that the day may come when they have to fight.

That fact is so obvious it's not worth the effort of starting a new thread. It's like starting a thread saying the sun is hot.

So you are saying that the sons of wealthy people are more likely to go to college and less likely to join the army? That's an astonishing revelation.

Or one stating that contraception is more effective than abstinence. Some people impose that view in faith based initiatives, even though Mrs. Bush or Mrs. Cheney would never personally adopt such a practice.

So what's your point? Are you saying that having sex with contraceptive is more effective than not having sex?

Ironically, that would make more sense that the other crap you are saying.

We were in a state of war during Vietnam. What were Kerry's actions then.

Do you think Al Qaida has not declared war on us ?
They do not have a country and a standing army as in traditional warfare, but do you think they are not at war with us. What was 9/11 ?
Wake up and smell the roses. Israel lives with it each day, now it has finally come to our soil. Before this, it was either army barracks (220 dead), an embassy, a ship or whatever. On 9/11 it finally came here, although in 1993 they tried to blow it up then too with a car bomb in the garage of the towers. When do you decide to fight back.

Besides being wrong (it is about 5 or 6), what does this have to do with anything. The upper class are going to go to college and avoid the military. Is that new ? Is it even a problem ? With a voluntary military everybody decides if they want to serve.

My point is in the real world contraception is more effective than abstinence because kids don't abstain. But in the Bush reality this isn't true. In Bush's mind Iraq is progressing well too. The world he lives in is different to everybody else.

Anyway, I know people like you don't like dissenters against this radical administration; you expect to post your propaganda and for people to nod like obedient dogs. The fact is I don't buy your horse-shit lies and propaganda. I feel pity for you that you're suckered in by this administration and don't attempt to analyze the masses of misinformation. You and your radical right wing friends are like a line of dumb seals, waiting to be fed your next fish by the administration.

What's funny is that I am not a big W supporter. I support him b/c I never would vote for the Democrats and I think he has done an OK job.

It is just that crap that you guys spew constantly is frustrating even to the mildest of W supporters. If it had any basis in reality, I could let it go, but it is just constant, not-stop crap and it gets annoying.

I never got this from Pepper at all, he just voices his opinion like the majority of use. Except his opinion is wrong.

Well it's even more annoying having Dubya as president, trust me. There are a number of Republicans who although I disagree with a lot of their policy goals I still have a great deal of respect for them. Even some of my Repubican friends are voting against against Bush as they feel he hijacked the party.

    To quote Ron Reagan:-

"My father crapped bigger ones than George Bush,"

"The Bush people have no right to speak for my father, particularly because of the position he's in now," he said during a recent interview with Salon. "Yes, some of the current policies are an extension of the '80s. But the overall thrust of this administration is not my father's -- these people are overly reaching, overly aggressive, overly secretive, and just plain corrupt. I don't trust these people."

    Forrest say's war is wrong.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
