The police are clearly investigating and building their case as they go along on Kobe. You can see this in the tone of the "interview" or "questioning".. They (the police) are there to dot all their "i"'s and cross all their "t"'s... To make THEIR case against him based on what she told them happened and they are going after Kobe assuming what she said was true. They are putting him "on trial" even before their is a "trial". They are gathering their "evidence" with this interview. She made her allegations and they (the police) are conducting their investigating with the assumption that he is guilty according to her statements to them - and any "evidence" they may have gathered before they interviewed him.

When they tell you "anything can and will be used against you" they are telling you the absolute truth - It WILL BE and IS. IF they do tell you this BEFORE asking any questions which as I understand it is what they are SUPPOSED to do but reality says they do not always follow...

No one here was any "saint" and all knew what they were doing - at least on the surface... I feel she is just as "guilty" as he. I believe it was consensual. I believe she was out to make a name for herself and a lot of money. He was out to get "relief" - and MAYBE if it "worked out ok" for him maybe even be finding someone he would want to have a long-term relation with....

Only they know what really happened. This could actually happen to anyone - and probably has many times (even without the money aspect or the fame)...
