Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

"It’s not an “if.” It’s a “when.” Pentagon officials have indicated that they plan to send as many as 15,000 additional troops during the first four months of 2005, and the President George W. Bush continues to insist “we will stay the course” until Iraq is stabilized."

Manic wht do you know about peak oil?

Like I pointed out in the debate thread oil has likely peaked already and we are riding on inflated reserve estimates used to borrow money and increase exports.

The Army Corps of Engineers no-bid contract with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown & Root gave them control of Iraq's oil.
"But earlier this week, corps officials acknowledged the contract, which has no set limits on time or money, allows the subsidiary to operate Iraq's oil fields and distribute its oil, rather than just putting out fires and making repairs."
The Bush Clan rushed into Iraq with no plan to win so that they could justify an Emergency contract with Cheney's Halliburton buddies.
