Fuck this who argued better shit, at this moment people in a shaky little land called Afghanistan are bravely and proudly taking a stand for their rights and marking their future by selecting their own leader. Deep within my heart I hope that all goes well and they choose someone that they can all trust. (which means not U.S. supported Karzai since many have voiced distrust in him for the fact that the U.S is pimping him) There are 16 names on the ballot and it will likely lead to run off elections. What we have to remember is that in their country and culture they aren't used to excepting an unfavorable outcome without putting up a fight so we will in all honesty be brewing a huge civil war.

While Karzai is easily the best-known among the candidates, the patchwork of ethnic groups that make up Afghanistan could work against him if voting goes on community lines. He is a Pashtun, the group to which the country's rulers have traditionally belonged and makes up about 40 percent of the population. Minorities include the Tajik, Hazara, Uzbek and Baluch communities."

That's the problem one group will praise Allah for selecting their candidate and then the other group will slaughter him because Allah wanted there candidate to win.
