    New snowblower

(you can keep the "blower" jokes to yourself )

Wife and I just bought this monster. Toro PowerMax 828. Two stage, Tecumseh engine, electric starter, 28" clearing width, 45' throwing distance (that'll be fun!). Just in time for SNOW!

    WOO HOO POWER EQUIPMENT!

I don't think I can pick one up myself. It weighs 245 lbs.

du510, I am in Simsbury. Just moved there from Newington. How about you? X-Ring, another member here, is in Berlin.

Ah, we're on opposite ends of the state. X-ring has not posted in a while. Not sure what's up with him.

There are a few others here that used to live in CT....Jodi, Nikegurl, David to name a few. I don't know if there are any other current residents than the ones we just mentioned. Well, there is my wife too I suppose (MtnBikerChk).

Less than an hour drive and I'm on top of Mt. Charleston with all the snow I want. Then it's back down into the valley with nice 70 & 80 degree temps. Admittendly, Mt. Chuck ain't the greatest in the world, but Utah's pretty close and their slopes are world class.

I have always seen these contraptions on the weather channel in winter when a big snow hits and always thought it would be fun to operate one!

This is what I have to deal with from November to March. The snow is all that white stuff on the ground.
