    ANOTHER Prez Debate Thread

I am just curious if ANY of you watched the debates with no preselected choice in mind? It seems to me everybody has their picks and only watches the debates for ammo to bash the other guy lol. Therefore, it seems everybody only reads into them/sees what they want to hear and nothing more.

    He can't run against himself
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

I do not want this thread to be in support of either candidate, I was just curious about the question I asked.

i think the debates come so late in the game that people who follow the news and politics at all already have their opinions formed.

i think it'd be rare to find someone undecided AND interested/informed.

I suppose it was my attempt to trivialize the other debate threads. I mean, it's the same shit over and over again anyway, and the debates seemed to have very little actual bearing on the decision-making process, which is probably due to them being so close to election time (as suggested by nikegurl)

I think you would be suprised. Not that Canadian Politics really apply because well it is Canada

We had our Federal Election earlier in the Year. Polls were very similar to these with Conservatives and Liberals. It was expected that the Conservitives would win, but the Swing voters had major influence and I a sure the debates played some what of a role in that. The Liberals won to form a minority government compared to the Majority Gov that was predicted for the conserv.

And they weren't all non educated decisions we were just left to chose between two fucktards much like yourself. I didn't end up making a decision until the weekend before the election.

Find a post of mine bashing Kerry.

I did post a waffle house thing a long time ago, but that's about it.

I don't hate Kerry, I don't love Bush...I just think you anti-Bush guys are nucking futs.

I'm sorry, I meant to say Harvard. Oh wait, I did say Harvard.

Oh and that's a real scope there with the PROFESSORS objecting to a REPUBLICAN. What's next, young men liking nude women?

Yeah, you read stories all the time about people sliding through Ivy League schools.

Education does NOT equal intelligence, but some accomplishments are impossible without some smarts and graduating Ivy League is one of them.

Idiots get through Clemson all the time, not Harvard.

Poor speaking ability does not equal dumb-ass.

you're not going to hear or read about because the families have money and connections, and yes it most definitely happens.

kind of like college football stars that end up graduating.
