    Olympia on Pay Per View

For the first time this year the women's O events are being added to the ppv line up. You can order just the women Sat afternoon or just the men Sat night or a combo package. That please me UNTIL I FREAKING FOUND OUT THAT DIRECTTV ISN'T OFFERING IT THIS YEAR. WTF. (cable is )

me too and i've never regretted it - 'til now
i hate cable but i've been looking forward to this since last year and never considered it wouldn't be on DirecTV. (i actually switched about a year and a half ago and last year it was on DirecTV)

i think if they were going to add it - it would have happened by now but i'm still hoping just a little that it might turn up.

I just e-mailed DirecTV about whether they'll be showing the Olympia. I'll let you know when they write back.

cool. i emailed them a couple of weeks ago and they said they didn't see it listed anywhere yet but maybe in the next few days it would appear on their schedule....but it still isn't listed on their ppv schedule and it's only 2 weeks away.

i emailed again too so at least now they won't think i'm the one and only customer who cares.

it depends on the cable available to you. if i lived 1 street over i'd have time warner and they are pretty cool. all the free on demand stuff etc. but the dividing line forces me to have adelphia - and they SUCK. (i've had them twice in the past) lots of service interruptions, average reception, miserable customer service, no on demand...

my DirecTV with Tivo costs me less than Adelphia with nothing and it's way better ('cept for this Olympia thing )

Actually, not carrying the Olympia will save you alot of disappointment, the production value for the Olympia on PPV is worse than public access, I shit you not. I would not pay a single cent to watch it. I watched it at a friend's house last year and couldn't imagine paying for it, he had a descrambler.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
