    Who's got a PDA?

I'm looking into getting yet another useless toy. This time it'll be a pda. The Dell Axim x50v is looking amazing. It's getting bad reviews for battery life but everything else looks good. WiFi, bluetooth, nice amount of memory, and VGA! It would just be too cool to have net access when I'm on travel and the hotel has a wireless connection. Any opinions?

Don't buy a Toshiba PDA. I stupidly spent $600 on their e740 model and it's a piece of crap. Very slow and unstable.

I have a HP Pocket PC and I love it. Built in WiFi and Bluetooth.

I hate the Palm OS, stick with Windows CE.

Yeah the x50v runs Windows CE. A lot more ppl run palm but it's been around longer and the trend is windows I think.

I don't know how people live without these PDAs. I have so much info in mine, I would be lost without it.

I have a Treo 90. It's got a Palm OS. It's a color screen and syncs with my Outlook. I've also got some decent diet and exercise software loaded onto it. It's pretty good, but it's "older" now and definitely not as cool as my wife's color HP unit with MS OS and wireless internet.

I second that!! I have the IPaq 4150/4155 and it rocks. There's nothing like sitting in a crowded intersection and logging onto someone's unprotected wireless network!!

I scoured three states and the entire freakin' internet trying to find one of those! I ended up getting a Casio - Cassiopea. Fantastic little unit. Great color screen, Windows OS, fast synch to Outlook. All in all a great buy. (A few hundred years ago.) Mine is still going strong so I have no idea what's on the market today.
