Well, the WT isn't usually on my hotlist of news sources but I did check out the article. If true it's really quite stupid for Kerry to have lied or exaggerated on this issue, particularly as it doesn't give him much of a political advantage. However, the lies of senators while serious do not result in the death of 3,000 plus civilians in Afghanistan and 14,000 civilian deaths in Iraq (plus military wounded and dead).

As the election draws closer the war of words between the two parties is reaching an all time low. Fear, half-truths and downright lies are all fair game. The integrity of our political system declines every moment. No wonder people can't be bothered to vote.

We covered that in another thread a few months ago At first galnce it was interesting ... but it came from France. Nothing good comes out of France and so we dismissed it.
