Maryland bear hunt ridiculous...
This is fucked up. I am all for hunting, but this ahole shot an 84lbs bear less than a year old. WTF is up with that, I take shits bigger than that? The hunt was supposed to lean out the herd so that human to bear conflicts drop. If an 84 lbs bear tried to attack me I would laugh my ass off, assuming it didn't get spooked by me.
I wonder how many of the "trophies" were of similar size. http://www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/science....ap/index.html

That's quite a trophy! He shouldn't have risked his life like that, though. My neighbor has an obese poodle, probably weighing in around 60lbs. It's a much safer hunt than that atrocious, man-killing bear. What a brave man!!!

That's bullshit. What's his next "accomplishment"?
I love to hunt, but I wouldn't have taken the shot on a youngster like that. If it's not a quality animal, then I would have passed. That's akin to taking a shot at a 5 day old fawn. (pointless) |

9 MONTH'S OLD and female, what a pussy, I mean how do you explain a stuffed bear cub in the corner of the den.

This makes me so sad.
Poor little bear. I'm all for hunting, in fact I'm the only woman in my family that doesn't hunt, but there's a right way and a wrong way to do it.That's just like when people "bait" deer. I hate that shit. "Here Mr. Deer, let me feed for about a month to fatten you up so I can sit my ass in a tree stand one day and shoot your ass while you dine." |

You mean the deer is pointless or the act is pointless? ![]() By the way, bear meat doesn't taste that good anyway.

Since they didn't meet their quota they will have another open season in December. I say seal him in a bear suit and dump him drunk in the middle of the woods.
