Giant salmon attacs boy!

After oceandude teased me about scandinavian likeing salmon to much I just had to post this. I just saw it in the newspaper online. I thought this was friggin hillarious =)

http://www.aftonbladet.se/vss/nyhete...553165,00.html

The text goes; Isak 7 attacted by giant salmon.

The 7 year old boy fell in the water, and a giant salmon attaced him. When he got up the salmon jumped after him (! ) up on land. The boy and his 9 year old sister then hit the salmon with a big rock and then brought it home to their mother.

Only in norway

edit: typo

hehe - the ol' use your kid brother for bait trick. Good to see that some fishing tricks are globally taught. They didn't tell how the boy fell in the water - I am certain his sister pushed him or it was a collaborative effort.

We catch alligators in Florida the same way. You take your little brother or sister or one of your pets (like a small dog) and tie a rope around them. Then you toss them in the water behind a row boat and pull it along the reeds and bushes close to the swamp's shoreline. Eventually you get the attention of something and ther person or pet starts making frantic splashing motions signaling you to pull them in fast. Then you just reel in the bait fast and smack the gator over the head with a baseball bat when he follows in close to the boat to try and catch the bait. It's exciting for everyone and alligator tastes just like chicken.

Actually it did say, I was just to lazy to translate the whole thing.
The siblings saw a smaller fish just below the surface, and Isak fell in the water whilst looking at it, trying to catch it or whatever.

So it was the salmon doing the ol' use your kid brother for bait trick to catch humans. Sneaky little devils those fish.
