Great idea!

When I was a kid I used to make tennis ball cannons.. It was a blast.
I was such a little terror as a kid

They used to have the really strong coke cans. I would take the center ones like 4 of them and hollow them out by cutting the tops off with a can opener. Then the bottom one I would leave the top, but punch a bunch of holes in the top.. Then I would put a whole in the side of the bottom can. Last, I would tape all the cans together.
I would pour shitloads of lighter fluid down the top then with a tennis ball that I would burn all the hair off, I would drop down the top. After that all you had to do is take a match and light the hole on the bottom. You would then hear a huge explosion and it would shoot the tennis ball so far up in the air you couldn't even see it. It would take like 10 seconds or so before it finally came down .

Later in my machine shop classes in high school we made an even more powerful canon out of a steel tube. With this baby though instead of the weak lighter fluid source, we used pure acetylene. This was to dangerous to walk up and light match so we ran 2 wires from the hole that was about 25 feet. We then touched the other to the positive source of a battery. This one caused a severe exposion much loader and would shoot a fire ball in the sky... The freakin tennis ball would be on fire

We blew a carburator off a car once with acetylene. The carburator shot so high in the sky (like the tennis ball) we couldn't even see it. Then we ran like hell and took cover so it wouldn't smash our head in on the way down. We did this at an old abandoned lot where nobody could get hurt. We filled the manifold with acetylene and the carb was not bolted to the manafold. .... That was crazy

We also loved to make acetylene fire bombs by filling balloons with the stuff
You will never know how powerful this stuff is till you work with it yourself.
But I don't mess with that anymore. I learned the value of mortality .

Oh and then they had the old replica canons that made very loud explosions shooting fire. They used what they called "Bangsite Powder".. Was kewl stuff, not sure if you can still get those anymore. I remember when I got mine they had like 5 or 6 different models from small to pretty large size with wheels.

Uhhhh....I never did any of that dangerous stuff, but I did light a bag of dog shit at a neighbors house. He didn't fall for it, he turned around and grabbed a pitcher of water and dowsed the flame. There are more evil things that I've done, but you are all too innocent to heart them!

Oh the ole dog shit in a bag trick ayyyyeeee

I did the same thing. As a kid I frequently played baseball in front of the house. We used a plastic ball and plastic bat. Well we would hit our ball on this grouchy neighbors lawn from time to time. He was so mean he would take our ball and wouldn't return it. So one day near fourth of july I got the guys together and we filled a bag with dog shit, douced it with lighter fluid, lit it along with a pack of fire crackers and ran... Well we hopped like 3 neighbors fences and ended up in a different neighborhood so we never knew his reaction.... Can you believe that! All that work and we didn't even catch the reaction
