This would be very true if they were going to legalize pot. The Liberals don't want pot legalized; they want simple possession decriminalized. Simple possession would mean a fine and no criminal record. The liberals also want the 600 000 Canadians with a possession charge to be pardoned.

Tobacco companies could possibly lose profits from the government decriminalizing pot; but all the pot smokers I know wouldn't touch a cigarette. Tobacco has become so taboo where I am from. Originally Posted by cappo5150

Make it legal under the same laws as booze. If you drink and act like weed is some kind of evil force we need protected from you are self deluded. If you are under 32 and give me smack about this ... I have been smoking weed longer than you have been alive and I am fine
