Since the election results are in, I promise to:

Support the President, even if I didn't vote for him.
Criticize the President, even if I did vote for him.
Uphold standards of civilized discourse in blogs and in media while pushing both to be better.
Unite as a nation, putting country over party, even as we work together to make America better.
Some time ago there was a similar pledge that basically said that no matter who wins they’ll treat the president with respect. This is an attempt to put the brakes on some of the extreme partisanship and general bashing out there.

that I'm not being too optimistic here, but I seriously
believe that AMERICANS do unite after the elections and
support a president that they didn't vote for / criticize a president
