i just got home from the gym.. i just put the game in, still watching the intro. ill let you know how it is later tonight.

1 was great.. even if it's the same game (don't expect that), but with xbox live capability, it's going to be awesome.

I fried the HDD and started the project with the simple replacement of the defective unit. That never works for me ... I should have known. I once had an apartment with a crack in the ceiling. The crack repair turned into an entire remodeling job. So I'm gutting the thing and basically building a new box. This site is my guide. Cool site with total run throughs on all the mods you could want to do with pictures. Check the site out and have at it.

The game is great. The single-player campaign is pretty much the same (so far) as 1, with a different story line. You can hold two different weapons at the same time.. that's the only gameplay difference I've see so far (i've only beaten level 1, so there may be a lot i haven't seen yet).

playing on xbox live is awesome. Slayer/capture the flag, etc. are all great. You can also do a multiplayer co-op campaign across the net, which i didn't know they would include... very cool.

anyway.. if you have xbox live, definitely get this game.

if you don't, either get xbox live or just stick with Halo 1 until you do, IMO.

Somebody dig this thread up or pm me if you ever want a match

I think in multiplayer you can be the covenant, along with new weapons etc.

Maybe I should buy an X-Box

cool man, I started to make a Nov. 9th thread since that was the big day

didn't expect such a following though. I haven't bought it but tit and I went around town two nights ago at midnight to see the crowd that had built up around the video game stores and wal-mart.

I don't have Live which is the main reason I didn't get it, otherwise I'd have been first in line. If we made a IM team up I'd up and go buy Live AND Halo 2 the very night it was declared and meet up, but I know I'd get my ass handed to me
