Oh I honored them numb-nuts. But exactly where do you fit it with that honor? What years did you serve? What hostile regions did you serve in? No doubt the answer is "none" because Im afraid the "douchebags" nowdays are mostly north of the border. Frankly I quit going up there. I got tired of every fucking canuck trying to politisize every conversation and badmouthing my country. Its even worse in the french speaking part of Canada, where the people never learned to bathe and you gotta hold your fingers to your nose the whole way thru. Im personaly sick of the shitty attitudes of Canadians. Its a shame really as the place has a very proud history. Per capita they paid a higher price then any of the allies for the triumph of Democracy in WWll. Now however? I would liken the place to a plastic bag, filled with fluids, used to cleanse the vagina.........AKA "douchebags".........................Rich |

Alright. I take back a little of what I said. I thought Canada cut and ran from Afghanistan completly. I just read you still have 900 military personal in the country. Maybe there still is a slight spark up there.......... eh? I never insulted Canadas fighting men either. I just insulted its civilians, most of all madden. And most of all the 98% of its population that sit around all day whining about their neighbor to the south.......................eh?
I do have a focking soft spot for the place buried somewhere in my cold dark heart. Great fishing, good moose and caribou, great whitetail out west, very good waterfowl. And who doesnt love an Eskimo? The populated East reminds me of Europe so much that I never go there. The Newfies are so lovable I just want to give them all noogies whenever Im out there,"long focking ferry ride tho...eh". Ya Ive been up to Canada many times you know. But I'll never forget what one Canuck told me last time I was up there. He said, "If the hunting and fishing werent so good in Ca-na-da you Yanks wouldnt give a fock about us you know"? You know what I told him back? I said, "I dont give a fock about you anyways....you know". Ive just gotten to much attitude up there. It often starts when going thru the border. If not the focking border guards its the focking exhchangers when trading focking dollars for focking funny money. But most of all its the whining about American policy. YEAH HEY THERE!!.........we serfs dont sit down with focking George Bush for focking lunch you know. We have no power to change American policy, and really, we dont give a fock if you like it or not. Did you ever give a fock what we think............eh? But for your vets I wish them Happy Remembrance Day...........um, are there any focking Canadian veterans here?....................eh?...................... ... ...........Rich |

Ironically the four dead Canadians in Afghanistan were caused by an American pilot, not the first incident where Americans have accidentally killed Canadian soldiers on Allied missions. One of the worst was during the Normandy landings of World War II, where an American bomber dropped his load short and killed 160 Canadian and Polish soldiers on the beach.
There have been other near-misses in Afghanistan. During one operation where Canadian soldiers were working with Yanks in a search mission, an American pilot mistook their coordinates and nearly bombed them again. Since Canada's military comes from its civilian population, they represent their nation in the same manner that Americans represent our own. It is always an embarassment when friendly fire causes the deaths of an ally's troops - and for those mistakes alone, we owe their military respect and their forgiveness. I'm sure America apologizes for Rich's remarks - abortion wasn't legalized here until after he was born. |

In every instance there are good apples and bad apples. I think this jackass is a good example of why around the world Americans are seen as stupid rude obnoxious loudmouth idiots. That's not a generalization, but obviously this moron has some severe issues. Why the hell would you come into a thread honouring soldiers and say garbage like this? Keep your ignorant redneck opinions to yourself and please stay in your country. Maybe if you get attitude it's because you cross the border acting like you are an all powerful American and we politely tell you that you should turn around and go home because we don't want losers like you in our country. The rest of the world doesn't give a damn about you or your attitude. |

Because nobody, except for the victims familys, felt worse about the accident then Americans did! And why is it USAF that makes these terrible mistakes? Because we usually make up about 95% of the war planes in a modern conflict. Or in Afghanistan its more like 100%. Sadly there have been many other instances of fratracide that have nothing to do with warplanes. It could be helicopters, artillary, naval fire, friendly small arms fire...........it happens. And since it did happen Canada drastically cut back its deployment in Afghanistan and what is there now is stationed near Kabul far from the beaten path where the war is still going on. Well.......as long as it frees up Yanks to do the real fighting I guess its making a contribution. Im sure they rather be chasing Al Queda with our boys up in the mountains and its not their fault their country is ran by a bunch of holier then thou pussy's. I never insulted the Canadian fighting man/woman. I insulted the Canadian Govt. and its civilian pukes who never did shit for the cause of freedom and want to do even less post 9/11. So spare me your line of shit! Go give up 3,4 or more years of your life for such a crusade and then you'll have my respect! Now Im going to ask one more time. Is there any current Canadian military member, or veteran, here? If there is then Happy Remembrance day........................Rich |

I'm in the naval reserve numbnuts. So was my sister, my uncle (army) and my grandfather (medical corps) and a couple of generations before him. And why is the argument always "Well, we had the most troops on the ground and therefore have the highest casualties blah blah blah noone else will fight"? Here's my answer: Who the hell asked you to be there in the first place? I know Iraq didn't. |
