that is because people try and manipulate Google so much due to it's importance.

one thing I do not like about Google is that it gives relevance to the file name, example: ironmagazine.com/build-muscle.html >> if the url (page) came up like that Google sees that more relevant than a generic url like ironmagazine.com/article01.html

OK, I said this to Vieope in another thread, now it's your turn. Could you run that through a Brazilain-to-English dictionary and then try again?

I haven't been following the Linux movement in a while, are any of them as ready out of the box as Mandrake was a year ago yet? I mean I didn't have not one problem installing it as I did with Slack, RH and Deb it was easier than installing WinXP in fact cause I didn't have to go through and turn off the zillion unnecessary BS features.

Vieope isn't Linux more popular than Windows in Brazil?

Not all of it, since sometimes training people to use linux gets more expensive than buying some licenses from microsoft.

I can't argue about the ease of installing Mandrake. It's a great distrubtion to learn the ropes. Debian is harder to install but easier to maintain IMO. Knoppix is a very interesting distro, you can run it from a CD without installing on your harddrive.

Knoppix sucks, Kurumin, brazilian distribution runs the same way with only 200mb, it can load in the memory.

I have three dedicated Linux boxes and a Windows box for my wife. Go on, move to the dark side

There are tons of P2P applications for Linux. Check out sourceforge.com or freshmeat.net

    Network?

Yes I am happy with my musics, I found a rare recording of Zach De La Roch and Tool the other day doing a song that goes "You can kill the revolutionary, but you can't kill the revolution."
