I haven't been following the Linux movement in a while, are any of them as ready out of the box as Mandrake was a year ago yet? I can't argue about the ease of installing Mandrake. It's a great distrubtion to learn the ropes. Debian is harder to install but easier to maintain IMO. Knoppix is a very interesting distro, you can run it from a CD without installing on your harddrive.Originally Posted by maniclion
