    Outspoken MP fired!!

Controversial Liberal Member of Parliment, Carolyn Parrish wasn't surprised she was fired by Prime Minister Paul Martin.

Parrish was also seen this week in a promotional ad for the CBC comedy show This Hours Has 22 Minutes smiling as she stomped her foot on a doll representing U.S. President George Bush.

Parrish is a former teacher and school board chairwoman in Toronto's ethnically diverse Peel Region.

She is not new to making news or generating controversy. After Bush won a second term earlier this month she said she was "dumbfounded" so many Americans had voted for the "war-like man."

This past August, she referred to the U.S. as the "coalition of the idiots" during a protest on American missile defence.

And, during a scrum outside the House of Commons last year, Parrish notoriously said, "Damn Americans ... I hate those bastards."
MP Parrish also didn't have anything positive to say about her own political party and Prime Minister Martin.

"I have absolutely no loyalty to this team -- none."
"Every time he gets up and reprimands me, be it ever so gentle, it just feeds it and he looks like he can't control me, which he can't,"
"If he loses the next election and he has to resign, I wouldn't shed a tear over it."

Anyone who would do such an immature thing, the doll thing, does not deserve to be serving their counrty unless they are making a naked Iraqi pyramid.

Seriously though, she should have been shit canned.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

She should have been fired years ago; She is a real nut job. Now that she has no one to answer to, she should have alot of interesting crap to say.

First, what kind of name is This Hours Has 22 Minutes for a comedy show?
Second, what the F is a scrum?
Third, why must you guy's spell defense with a 'c'?
and last, Why do we care about a one crazy Canadian politician? The U.S has 12 to your 1 of half-wit civil servants.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

'This Hour has 22 Minutes' is a Canadian institution. IMO one of the funniest shows ever; 'Talking to Americans' is one of the funnier bits they do.

22 Minutes star pulls prank on George W. Bush

    http://cbc.ca/cgi-bin/templates/view...hpoutine000302

    HALIFAX -
The American media have become fixated on a prank pulled by This Hour Has 22 Minutes star Rick Mercer that showed U.S. presidential candidate George W. Bush doesn't know the name of Canada's prime minister.

That prank happened yrs ago but it's still funny.

I think a scrum is something politicians do up here, they dress in hockey gear and they fist fite and say stupid things to the media.

Why must you guy's spell defence with a 's'?

Retarded thing is she wasn't reprimanded or fired for her earlier remarks about G.W Bush. It took until her remarks about the Liberal party and Paul Martin before any action was taken. Shows a lack of leadership on his part.
